Pop Gear: The Animals - House Of The Rising Sun

Описание: In their archives, ABC Television has two clips by The Animals, both pulled from the 1965 film "Pop Gear". In this clip is the song "House Of The Rising Sun", a traditional song covered by many performers over the decades before and after. This version, however, is considered by many to be the definitive recorded version.


Although the film is in fairly good shape for a clip of it's age, it does suffer from PAL Speedup, meaning that the audio is sped up by 5% so that the film could run at 25 frames per second for PAL television as opposed to the film's usual 24 frames per second. Also, the sides of the image have been cut off, as the film was produced in a very wide aspect ratio. This was done in order to fit the film on the 4:3 television of the time. In spite of all this, it is an awesome song which should be played loud.
