Описание: We all believe that we have a special, unique, hidden talent within us which will one day make us very successful. However, as humans, our performance is innately affected by the size of the receiving audience. Imagine the pressure coming from giving a speech in front of Mr. Steves classroom versus delivering the opening keynote to the president's inauguration. Showcasing our written piece, speech or act to the world -- being watched by millions on social media, platforms like youtube or shows like America's got talent -- that pressure truly transforms one's planning, preparation and inevitably the performance!

Marc Williams is a high-powered, energetic motivational speaker, leadership development trainer, and executive speech coach. With various degrees and almost 20 years of experience in education, communication, and administration, Marc provides the motivation and strategies audiences can use to become powerful leaders and dynamic communicators. Marc is a Brooklyn Tech alum, and a former Assistant Principal of English at Brooklyn Tech. Currently, he is the Principal at the Secondary School for Journalism. As one of the nine finalists in the 2014 Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking, Marc delivers talks on presentation/communication skills, leadership development, and self-empowerment at leadership conferences, educational institutions, and corporate events. As the author of Beyond Limitations: From a Boy Without Promise to the Man I Am Today, Marc’s mission is to inspire and share with others how to turn their challenges into their victories.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
