Large Eddy Simulation (LES) of smoke extraction with a duct system in a single compartment (8 m x 4 m x 4 m) using the Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) - https://pages.nist.gov/fds-smv/. Downstand: 2 m, fire size: steady 500 kW, extraction rate: 7 m^3/s, extraction opening on the side of the duct, duct dimensions (height x width): 0.5 m x 1 m. Two different fire locations are considered.
