Описание:
This song was published in the Album Unisher Daak to commemorate May 19 1961, the day when 11 young people were shot by the Police in Silchar, Assam while walking a silent march to establish the rights of Barak inhabitants to recognize Bangla as their language of communication. The song also resonates the struggle and spirit of Ekushe February (February 21st, 1952) which experienced a similar sacrifice in East Pakistan (currently Bangladesh). It pays homage and salutes the spirit of mother-language martyrs across the world and in the process calls out for every human's right to freedom of expression and co-existing in harmony and our responsibility to show mutual respect to fellow human beings.
