Brandon Stark, heir to Winterfell and betrothed to Catelyn Tully meets and falls in love with Ashara Dayne- Lady of Princess Elia and sister to Ser Arthur Dayne. Many obstacles stand in their way, one being Ned, his shy brother who is also in love with Ashara. When Rhaegar takes Lyanna Stark- their younger sister- Brandon heads to Kingslanding to challenge the Prince, but instead meets a grisly end leaving Ashara devastated. After killing Ser Arthur Ned returns to Starfall to return his sword and Ashara in her grief jumps from the cliffs.
