Saudi Arabia has already invested billions of dollars into sports like football, tennis and golf. But to the surprise of many, all of those investments pale in comparison to the money they have pumped into eSports.

The crown prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman, is hoping to revolutionise his country, turning it from an austere and secretive place into one that is, on the surface, open for business and visitors.

He’s also a massive gamer.
