Описание: Six US Navy aircraft carriers sent planes to attack the IJN Naval center force which consisted of 29 ships, during the Battle of Leyte Gulf. The Japanese super battleship Musashi was part of this force. Navy planes attacked the Musashi striking the battleship with 17 bombs and 19 torpedoes. The battleship remained afloat for 4 hours after the attack. The video will review the attack, and address how the battleships could sustain such strikes and 3 factors which contributed to this attack which reduced its effectiveness.
