Adding Rear View Camera Mirror with Functional Washer Nozzle - 2022 Z71 Tahoe

Описание: Below are the parts I used. The parts with the asterisk could have been skipped because the complete assembly I ordered from eBay duplicated those but the used housing was scratched up so I chose to go with the newer parts. The used housing also included both cameras but I used the original backup camera from my Tahoe because I knew it was working and the rear view mirror camera I purchased separately because the one in the used housing had a different connector that wouldn't work with the video cable. I know this isn't as clean as the infotainment package but I probably came out at least $400 cheaper than what their package is and I got a functional washer nozzle for the cameras as well. I'm probably out $1100-1200 with shipping/taxes and a couple parts I bought I didn't need and can't return. I could have done a few things the easier way but I chose not to cut the rubber boot and instead rebuilt the wiring harness altogether. I also could have skipped hooking up the washer hose but since the used assembly I bought had the feed tube to the nozzle it was just a matter of finding the part number for the hose with the "Y" fitting. I don't consider this a very easy install. Removing the trim panel on the back gate is not easy. You'll need a pretty long pry tool to release some of those clips.
