Today is a special day, because it happens to be my birthday! My gift to myself is a new experience and adventure. I decide to hike Santa Ana Volcano, at 2,381 meters above sea level, it is El Salvador's highest point.
This has been a bucket-list item of mine ever since I first started researching about El Salvador. The image of the turquoise blue lagoon crater inside the volcano has left a lasting impression on me. But with missed opportunities of getting breakfast, and a lack of sleep, I was solely on adrenaline. I like hiking, so I'm not new to these situations, but it turned out to be a great challenge. Will I be able to make it to the end? Watch and find out!
