A simple 2-minute breathing practice to regulate your nervous system when you're triggered, anxious, or overwhelmed. Use this anytime you need to pause and come back to center.
What This Practice Does:
✓ Activates your parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest mode)
✓ Creates space between stimulus and response
✓ Helps you pause before reacting
✓ Regulates anxiety, frustration, and overwhelm in real-time
When to Use This:
• Before a difficult conversation
• When you're lying awake at 2 a.m. with racing thoughts
• At your desk when work gets overwhelming
• In your car before walking into a stressful situation
• Anytime you feel triggered and need to reset
The Technique:
This practice uses a 4-4-6 breath pattern (inhale for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 6), which is scientifically proven to activate the vagus nerve and shift your nervous system out of fight-or-flight mode.
