More than a dozen Arab and Muslim nations including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Indonesia, Pakistan, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon and Syria issued a joint statement calling the remarks dangerous and inflammatory. The Arab League, OIC and GCC also condemned the comments as a violation of international law and a direct contradiction of President Trump’s own position opposing annexation of the West Bank.
