The sixth lab discusses how the ramp time parameters of the MOVIDRIVE® need to be calculated from the desired real time acceleration you want the motor to have. We prove the results by using a timer to show this functionality. We also demonstrate how to activate an alternate ramp time using an input assigned to be a ramp changeover. We conclude this lab by demonstrating how the emergency ramp parameter that is used for MOVIDRIVE® fault conditions will also use the same calculation method as the standard ramp time parameters.
