Welcome to UK Sea Fishing Weekly – Episode 3.
This week we cover both boat and shore fishing reports from around the UK, with some encouraging signs as spring edges closer. Offshore anglers have seen good results for pollock on lures, with fish showing in numbers when conditions allow.
Around the Bristol Channel, the spurdogs have arrived, along with some quality thornback rays, giving boat anglers plenty to talk about. On the shore, thornback rays are now being reported in East Kent and as far west as Devon, and hopefully numbers will continue to improve over the coming weeks.
We also take a moment to look at an iconic UK sea fishing mark that is sadly lost for the foreseeable future, and what that means for local anglers and the wider fishing community.
