Oggi concludiamo questa serie di video riguardanti l'azienda agricola "Allevamento Martin di Rocca Santa Maria (TE).
Dopo la falciatura e la pressatura del triticale che avete visto negli ultimi 2 video, quest'oggi ci occupiamo della fasciatura delle rotoballe pressate.
Sarà il nuovo fasciatore Mascar 1600 (anche lui è una New Entry dell'allevamento Martin) che si occuperà di fasciare queste balle di triticale.
Verrà fatto questo lavoro di fasciatura con lo scopo di far fermentare le balle facendole diventare insilato.
La fermentazione avviene tramite il calore che si crea all'interno della balla una volta che viene fasciata. Il calore all'interno della balla forma dei microrganismi anaerobi che fanno acidificare la massa vegetale permettendo la fermentazione.
La fermentazione in genere dura circa 2 settimane.
A fine fermentazione il film plastico (che non è altro che una pellicola di polietilene che ricopre la balla), viene rimosso e così le balle diventano pronte per l'alimentazione dei bovini di latte.
Chiaramente a fine fermentazione le balle non saranno più verdi come le vedete all'inizio ma diventeranno di colore marroncino proprio durante il processo di fermentazione.

Durante il video vedrete prima la fase di scarico del carrellone, che ho effettuato con una ripresa Cab View all'interno del Telescopico, in questo caso un JCB 531-70, pilotato dal mio amico Pierluigi, figlio del capo dell'azienda Martin.
Successivamente vedrete la fase della fasciatura effettuata con il Deutz-Fahr Agrotron MK3 90.
Alla fine di tutto negli ultimi 2/3 minuti vedrete la fase di smistamento e stoccaggio balloni direttamente nel campo.

Today we conclude this series of videos regarding the farm "Allevamento Martin di Rocca Santa Maria (TE).
After the mowing and pressing of the triticale that you have seen in the last 2 videos, today we take care of the wrapping of the pressed round bales.
It will be the new Mascar 1600 wrapper (he is also a New Entry of the Martin cattery) that will take care of wrapping these bales of triticale.
He will do this wrapping work with the aim of fermenting the bales making them become silage.
Fermentation takes place through the heat that is created inside the bale once it is wrapped. The heat inside the bale forms anaerobic microorganisms which acidify the vegetable mass allowing fermentation.
Fermentation usually takes about 2 weeks.
At the end of fermentation, the plastic film (which is nothing more than a polyethylene film that covers the bale) is removed and the bales become ready for feeding the milk cattle.
Clearly at the end of fermentation the bales will no longer be green as you see them at the beginning but will become brown in color during the fermentation process.

During the video you will first see the unloading phase of the trolley, which I carried out with a Cab View shot inside the Telescopic, in this case a JCB 531-70, piloted by my friend Pierluigi, son of the head of the Martin company.
