Crossing Bihar felt like riding through a completely different country. Long empty highways, sudden lane changes, rural villages, hay huts, and a pace of life totally unlike the India I’m used to. Two full days in Bihar felt rough and disconnected, but stepping off the highway showed a calmer, simple side of the state. The moment we crossed into West Bengal, the energy changed instantly and it finally felt like “India” again. Tomorrow we ride into the mountains.
