Introducing the Center X Table - a video series intended to highlight the current work of Center X projects and our thoughts about issues affecting students and educators. We hope to expand awareness of the inspiring and important work of our projects and the partners, communities, teachers, administrators, families and students we serve.
In this series of videos Dr. Francois talks with Tunette Powell, leader of the Center X Parent Project, about the importance of developing, nurturing, and sustaining meaningful parent engagement and parent leadership in schools.
The UCLA Parent Project brings together parents and K-12 educators in dialogue, collaboration, and mutual learning to support students’ social, emotional, and academic success, and school improvement efforts.
