Описание: Lack of the electricity and automobiles in the nineties in Kurdistan, that happened secondary to the 2nd gulf war, did't pass by without benefit,it has rendered night sky very clear and light free making it perfect for star gazers, it has also made most of the people to sleep on the roofs due to the lack of power for air conditioners, that's was when first I started gazing at the sky, starting making a small telescope from broken pieces of military binoculars has just paved a long road for me to take my hobby more seriously, along with practicing my hobby I kept on studying ending up with masters in pharmacology and lecturing at university at one hand, taking vice president post at Kurdistan astronomical society in Iraq, organizing star parties and serious amateur astronomical observations internationally on the other hand, there is more than a reason for practicing any hobby, the most important one is satisfying your self esteem development which has led many normal people to end up becoming famous,popular and respectful through practicing their hobbies.

Rojgar Hamed is a lecturer at Erbil medical university – collage of pharmacy. Along with his professional career as a lecturer and many other achievement, his passion has always been about astronomy. His desire and dream for astronomy ended him to publish a book about the same subject “Your Gate to the Night sky” in Kurdish which is first of its kind.
