Topic: Based on NCERT Exercise 6.2 + Angle Relation
Q1. Two angles form a linear pair. One angle is 47°. Find the other angle.
Q2. Two lines intersect. One angle is 130°. Find all other three angles.
Q3. In the figure, ∠AOD = 150° and OC is a ray inside ∠AOD. If ∠AOC = 3x° and ∠COD = (x + 30)°, find x.
Q4. If two angles are vertically opposite and one is (5x – 10)°, the other is (3x + 30)°. Find x and both angles.
Q5. ∠1 and ∠2 form a linear pair. If ∠1 = (4y + 5)° and ∠2 = (6y – 25)°, find y.
Q6. A straight line makes two adjacent angles ∠A = (3x + 20)° and ∠B = (7x – 40)°. They form a linear pair. Find x and both angles.
Q7. State True/False:
a) Vertically opposite angles are equal.
b) Adjacent angles always form a linear pair.
c) Sum of linear pair is 180°.
d) Vertical angles form at least two pairs.
Q8. One angle is twice its adjacent angle and they form a linear pair. Find both angles.
Q9. If ∠A = 45° and ∠B is its vertically opposite angle, what is ∠B? What are the other two angles formed?
Q10. In ∠AOB, OC is a ray such that ∠AOC = 2x° and ∠COB = (5x – 30)°. If ∠AOB = 150°, find x.
