Play Your Game (Even When You Screw Up)

It's wrecking me in the best way.

This month's been a mix — we helped one of our partner creators hit 10 million views and 100K followers on Facebook, did over $20K in sales for a live masterclass. But I also accidentally sent an email to 30,000 people with the wrong sender info. And spent hours DMing people a blueprint on LinkedIn, only to realize the landing page was broken and I lost all their contact info.

Moving fast comes at a cost.

But through it all — the wins, the losses, the grind, the screw-ups — I'm grateful.

I've been watching Miracle: The Boys of '80 on Netflix this week. It's a documentary about the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team. These were just kids — underdogs nobody thought had a chance. Al Michaels said something during the broadcast that's stuck with me: "There are times when sound has feel."

Tomorrow, USA faces Canada in one of the biggest Olympic matchups in history. Real moments are about to be created that those players will remember forever.

Before the Miracle on Ice game, coach Herb Brooks told his team: "Play your game." Not someone else's game. Not the game they thought they were supposed to play. Their game.

That's what I'm trying to do. That's what I hope you're doing too.
