EA Studio Updates: Out of Sample Monitor and Acceptance Criteria

Описание: In this video, I will show the update that we have in EA Studio about the OOS. OOS stands for Out Of Sample, and it is very useful in generating Expert Advisors with EA Studio.

With the Out of Sample, we can generate strategies using a predefined percentage of the Historical data. With the rest, EA Studio simulates trading, which would be the result if we actually traded the Expert Advisor on the market.

Now, the improvement is that in the acceptance criteria, we have the option to choose different criteria for the In Sample part and for the Out Of Sample part. This gives us great opportunities to build robust strategies.

Also, we have the Out of Sample monitor, which gives us a much better idea about the strategies and about the in a sample and out of sample parts.
