Dexter wanted his story written, but his planned autobiography was unfinished at the time of his death in 1990. Bob is privileged to have as his guest, Dexter’s widow, Maxine Gordon, who has completed the project of telling Dexter’s story in the new book, “SOPHISTICATED GIANT: The Life and Legacy of Dexter Gordon.”
