In this video I discuss an issue with the RJ45 connectors that failed on the filament feeder stepper drive side.
While I had this 3D printet for a while and I like this machine mechanically, it has a solid structure similar to my all time favorite Anycubic I3 Megas, the electrical connectivity from the base to the distribution board on the gantry via RJ45 Ethernet cables could be better.
I plan on replacing the RJ45 connectors with something more reliable like DIN twist type 8 pin connectors or even Sub D connectors to avoid intermittent connections that can lead to fail prints issues.
I had the same issue on a Two trees Sapphire Plus 5 core xy with loose connector on the Hot End thermistor which lead to a failed print.
Not mechanical issues but electrical connection related. Easily solved with higher quality connectors.
