In the early 1980's Argyle Street in Norwich was the largest squat in Europe. It was an attempt to create a genuine alternative society based on co-operation.
The film, by Al Stokes, is a record of the final days of the street. It features interviews and actuality shots of the street as it got ready for the eviction.
The intro is not representative of what the paces was really about and the choice of music is questionable and not representative of the street.
Al Stokes passed away in May, 2022
