This week I built a Montessori style, children’s wardrobe for my son and did so using basic tools, entry-level skills, and for a fraction of the cost it was to buy!

Want to give your child the independence of choosing their own clothes, but don’t want to pay an arm and a leg? Well this video is for you!

Not a professional woodworker or carpenter? No problem! In this video, I’ll show you how to tackle a project like this using a basic set of tools and entry-level skills and techniques. And like most people who are interested in taking on a project like this, I don’t have a huge, heated, well-lit, and well stocked workshop. Instead, I battled the Canadian winter and completed most of this build outside, using nothing more than a few sawhorses and a scrap piece of plywood as a workbench.
