First canon in a series of experimental canons aimed at exploring new musical styles. The goal is to find a way to create counterpoint using modal/atonal language. Future compositions will focus on more complex rhythms and perhaps microtonality.
The first canon is in octaves with the addition of a bass line. It explores only the harmonic side of the possibilities mentioned above.
