The Philadelphia Union hosted nine-year-old Jeziah from the Make a Wish Foundation, who’s wish was to meet Philadelphia Union Goalkeeper Andre Blake and be a Union player for a day.
Jeziah was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia on May 4, 2022. After two years of treatment, on July 10, 2024 Jeziah officially was able to ring the bell at CHOP celebrating the end of his treatment. While he still has some medical hurdles to clear, Jeziah is an energetic, loving boy who’s dream it is to be both a pediatric cancer doctor and a soccer player when he grows up.
Jeziah signed a one-day contact with Union with Head Coach Bradley Carnell by his side, ate his meals with the players, joined in on practice and was gifted 2026 Season Tickets. Below please find broll and photos from his day at the Union.
