Περίληψη (Abstract)
This study investigates digital tools, such as Moodle and MS Teams, as enabling tools in a blended learning environment for an accounting course. In the experiment sixty students participated in this voluntarily, divided into traditional and blended class to assess students’ outcomes, retention, and satisfaction. A qualitative approach, comprising participatory observations inside the classroom and digital interactions via Moodle and MS Teams, provides evidence of a higher level of engagement, satisfaction, and performance for the blended class. As far as Moodle analytics is concerned, semester activity scores are higher, with an increase in student posting and views within the blended class, which indicates increased participation by members. This paper provides evidence-based insights into the usage of digital tools in the integrating process of accounting education and subsequently its impact on flexible, interactive, and accessible learning experiences. The findings have set a roadmap as to how digital platforms can be used to amplify the effectiveness of blended learning in accounting courses.
