Oops, I lied. Like XT-X Options, this grind took about 3 days, and I'd be lying if I said this wasn't fun. I decided to Pure Perfect this b/c I wanted to train up for the upcoming FAINT tournament, and while this probably won't improve my sightreading skillset, I'd like to imagine it at least helped my accuracy skillset.
At 290 BPM, the timings aren't necessarily as strict as the worlds in Crown Island, but the real challenge comes from the triangles at the start and middle sections, requiring short bursts of 870 BPM (i think) that can trip you up if you're not ready. Other than that, Pure Perfecting this shouldn't be too bad apart from the end, which I got extremely lucky on since I never practiced it LOL.
If the video looks like it's at a lower quality, sorry for that - I had to turn off fullscreen and lower my resolution since it was lagging my computer a lot. I'm pretty sure no one will notice due to Youtube's compression magic, but hopefully my computer will be back to peak performance soon! (also sorry for the extra input at the very end, i kinda panicked LMAO)
As for what's next, I could try grinding for XI-X It Go Pure Perfect, but something tells me that I won't be getting close for at least a couple years. I think I have a test tomorrow, so I'll probably just study for that instead... orrr I could do some sightreading practice for the FAINT tournament... decisions, decisions........
