Hi Travis and Suzi! I wanted to share a scene from the movie “Lost Highway” by David Lynch. I had recently sent you guys a six-part series featuring movie music, and one of them was from different Lynch film. I thought I would share another one of his scenes with you, this time not because of the music but because the style is so unsettling and unique. I would not call Lynch’s style horror because it lacks the jump scares and the gore that’s typically associated with that genre. In fact, even while watching scenes like this one, you don’t really feel any fear, it just makes you feel unsettled. However, the feeling sticks for quite some time and recalling a scene like this later on, especially when you’re going to sleep, can be very disturbing and frightening. It’s difficult to explain, so I wanted to show you.
