Since I started video editing, I struggled with the different display of colors and I didn’t have enough space to display all necessary information. So I decided to get myself a calibrated display. But since my first Retina Macbook I don’t wanted to stick with the 1980p Resolution anymore.

There were only two options. Go big or go home
So I went with the 38” Ultra Wide Curved 4K Monitor from LG. The 38UC99-W. When you first see in real life it’s so overwhelmingly big. And the quality of the displayed pictures talks for itself.

The Setup is stupidly easy. You cant do anything wrong. And the supplied cables don’t leave any room for improvement.

It really isn’t a bargain but it’s worth every penny. I would buy it all over again.
