Guys - it's been quite a year, hasn't it? It's been hard. Really hard. And maybe we feel we have nothing left to give. Yet, I know from personal experience how miracles can occur in our lives when we open our hearts...even if it's just a tiny crack. A smile...a kind text...a small service...cookies on a doorstep...anything we can do to share our hearts cultivates joy in ourselves. It doesn't have to be big or even planned; just something that lifts another; and as we give a little more, we find joy....a little more.

This song is just something short and sweet that I wrote years ago. I have only shared it once or twice at my hometown concerts, but decided it was time to dust if off and share it for #LIGHTtheWORLD this year. I hope the message inspires us to do little acts of service that will light not only the world of someone else, but our own world with the love of Christ that fills our hearts when we serve as He would. We need healing...and service heals. We need #LIGHTtheWORLD2020 more than we ever have.

There are people all around us,
Opportunities in view;
