Synopsis: The opening song of Jugjugg Jeeyo, "Nain Ta Heere", illustrates the connection between Kukoo (Varun Dhawan) and Nainaa (Kiara Advani), from their days as school darlings to their eventual wedding. The couple, who have since relocated to Toronto, Canada, is already feeling the seven-year itch. While Nainaa clenches a white collar position in a respected company, Kukoo works as a bouncer in a nightclub.

Kukoo and Nainaa's relationship falls apart due to extended silences, rough conversations, and bitter hearts; as a result, they decide to file for divorce. However, there is still sketchy business to be taken care of when the two travel to Patiala to attend the marriage of Kukoo's sister Ginny (Prajakta Koli). To appear as a happy couple to the public until Ginny marries, Kukoo and Nainaa make the judgment.
