Operating in a similar manner as a garage door, this is an outstanding safety feature. Their only downfall is for those that may want to install vent visors. http://www.realtruck.com/vent-visors The issue is that an in-channel vent visor occupies the same space that the window normally seats in – creating a very tight spot. This tricks the computer into thinking that it has hit an obstacle because the window did not make all the way up as it normally does. Note that this does not apply to tape-on visors.

Hey guys, John here with RealTruck.com.
We've had a lot of people calling in and asking us about some issues they're running into with the In-Channel Vent Visors on a lot of different Ford cars and trucks from`08 all the way up to the 2015 models. And the problem is that you put your In-Channel Vent Visors on your truck or your car. You go to put the window up and the window hits and comes back down. Well, that's a safety feature that Ford incorporated into these vehicles, so that way kids don't get their heads caught or the fingers caught or whatever in the windows.
So now what we're going to do is we're going explain to you how to fix that problem so that way when you put your vent visors on your window, you go to roll up the window it goes up like it's supposed to. I'm going to show you an example of what the problem is. When you put the visor on and you hit the auto up switch. What happens is the window comes up, hits the visor, and goes back down. Well, I'm going to show you how to solve that problem.
All right guys, now to go through that procedure of how to reinitialize this window, you have to make sure that you do this with the door closed. So we're going to close the door on the truck. Now, the next step of that process is to take our switch and you'll have to do this for both sides. The back you don't have to worry about because it doesn't have that feature.
So what you want to do is go ahead and pull up on your switch and hold it, and bring the window all the way up, to its fully closed position and then give it about two seconds, one thousand one, one thousand two count. And then you can let off the switch. Now, what you're going to do is leave this window up for at least 48 hours and that will reinitialize the window bounce back feature.
So there you have it, now if you're having an issue with your In-Channel Vent Visors, that's how you reset it so your window will work properly. So until next time happy motoring.
Okay, guys I'm going to show you an example of what the problem is. When you hit your audio up switch on your window what's happening is. Is the windows coming up, it hits the visor and then goes back. And take three. 866-554-0581 Free shipping for orders over $100!
