In the Book of Revelation, 42 months marks a prophetic window of tribulation before divine intervention. In Doctrine & Covenants 88, we read of the sign of the coming of the Son of Man… followed by silence in heaven. Joseph Smith taught that the world would see a sign — many dismissing it as natural — while the Saints would recognize its meaning.

Now consider this:
• Easter Sunday and General Conference fall on the SAME DAY.
• A solemn assembly will be held.
• President Dallin H. Oaks will speak as the newly sustained Prophet.
• A new Church Easter preparation website was launched January 22 — functioning as a countdown to Easter.
• A Conference trailer titled “He Is Near.”
• And astronomers are tracking comet C/2026 A1, projected to reach perihelion on April 5 — Easter Sunday — with potential to become extraordinarily bright. 🌠

Layer these together.

An early and deliberate Easter emphasis.
A prophetic invitation to “seek this Jesus.”
A focus on the literal Resurrection.
Scriptures pointing to being “caught up” to meet Him.
A call to repentance, forgiveness, temple worship, and loving our neighbors.

Are we just preparing for Easter…

“Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen.”

Christ’s Resurrection means death is conquered. Man is free. Christ has won the victory.

But freedom only comes when we joyfully welcome Him into our lives. Babylon does not free us. Sin does not free us. Only Jesus Christ does. ✝️

Whether or not a comet becomes brilliant…
Whether or not we fully grasp the timing…
One truth remains certain:

Jesus Christ lives.
He is near.
And those who seek Him will not be deceived.

Now is the time to prepare.
Now is the time to build Zion.
