Toyota GR Yaris 2025 review: More powerful hot hatch gets auto option to blow away Hyundai i20 N!

Описание: The 2025 Toyota GR Yaris is taking the pint-sized hot hatch to the next level with major upgrades across the board. That said, the headline act is its remarkable 1.6-litre turbo-petrol three-cylinder engine, which has been retuned to deliver 221kW of power (+21kW) and 400Nm of torque (+30Nm).

Better yet, an enthusiast-focused six-speed manual is no longer the GR Yaris' only transmission option, with a friendlier eight-speed torque-converter automatic now also offered, although it doesn't arrive in Australia until mid-year. The facelifted hot hatch's interior has also been given a much-needed overhaul to make it roomier and even more drive-focused than before.
