Cochin International Airport ( Kochi) has a huge feather in it's cap , it being the only airport in the world that runs completely on solar energy , the solar panels can be seen just after take off .

Work is ongoing for the new terminal at Cochin International Airport , I used the domestic terminal which is very small , very basic and screaming for an upgrade .
The Earth Lounge left a lot to be desired and the food was terribly disappointing .
Post security check is a waiting room for all domestic airlines , a few shops , prayer room , feeding room and tiny food counter selling snacks , both sweet and savoury along with beverages.

Our incoming flight was delayed , leading to a one hour delay in our departure . The flight was pleasant , an empty business class cabin with just 3 passengers . Refreshments served were good , could have been better .
