Описание: As we look forward with hope to the gradual resumption of Sunday worship in St Giles’, the Choir has prepared a work for Palm Sunday which is a stalwart of the late nineteenth century repertoire. The Crucifixion by John Stainer is “A Meditation on the Sacred Passion of the Holy Redeemer, for two solo voices and chorus, and interspersed with hymns to be sung by the congregation”. The performance, recorded by the Choir in lockdown, will be released on the St Giles’ YouTube channel at 6pm on Sunday 28th March, along with words for those who wish to join in the hymns from home.
