Civil Bar advocates demonstrated at the Collectorate at 11 am on Monday and raised slogans regarding the establishment of Rural Court in the Tehsil area of Azamgarh district. Advocates protested against the establishment of Rural Court and said that when all the senior officers will sit at the district headquarters, then from where will justice be provided in the tehsil area. The advocates submitted the memorandum of their demands to the DM.
: Advocate SK Pandey told that a rural court is being built in Azamgarh. When there are competent courts at the district headquarters. Then what is the need to build there in rural areas. There is no such system there so that people can get facilities and get justice. SDMs are already deployed at the Tehsil level, but every day people from rural areas come to the District Headquarters to appeal to the District Magistrate. Now if the court is formed there then the situation of the courts will also be the same. All the lawyers are mobilized against this and have come to express their protest by protesting at the Collectorate.
