Milk, Dates, Almond & Chia Seeds Energy Drink Recipe
Ingredients:
• ½ cup almonds (soaked)
• 8 dates
• 1 tsp chia seeds (soaked)
• ½ cup milk (for soaking dates and almonds)
• 1 kg milk
• ½ cup sugar (for caramelizing)
• 1½ tsp custard powder or cornflour
• Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
1. Soak ½ cup almonds in warm water for 2-3 hours.
2. Soak 1 tsp chia seeds in water.
3. Soak 8 dates in ½ cup warm milk.
4. Peel the almonds after soaking.
5. Blend the peeled almonds and soaked dates together with the milk from dates until smooth.
6. In a pan, caramelize ½ cup sugar and add it to 1 kg milk. Cook for 1-3 minutes.
7. Add the almond-date paste to the milk and cook for another 3 minutes.
8. Mix 1½ tsp custard powder or cornflour in ½ cup milk and add to the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes while stirring continuously.
9. Allow the drink to cool slightly, then add soaked chia seeds and ice cubes if desired.
10. Serve chilled and enjoy a healthy energy-boosting drink!
