Grænavatn volcanic crater lake is a must-see when traveling around Reykjanes Peninsula. Grænavatn is located next to Seltún geothermal area which is only 40 minutes away from Keflavík Airport. The color is due to a high level of sulphur in the water and its depth of 45 meters.
