An art exhibit at the National Gallery of Australia has become the centre of a national spat.
Renowned Aboriginal artist Vincent Namatjira is currently showcasing 21 colourful portraits – a satirical series depicting some of the most influential people who have shaped Australia.
There’s a wonky looking King Charles, a canvas capturing Cathy Freeman’s famous Sydney 2000 Olympics victory and an image of former prime minister Scott Morrison mid-lecture.
But among them also hangs mining heiress and billionaire Gina Rinehart, the country's richest woman - and she has reportedly asked if it can be removed from public view.
