Описание: Rasmalai or Rassomalai is a traditional sweet dish which is most commonly made for functions such as Eid, or dinner parties, Rasmalai is best served cold the next day or left for a few days for the flavours to infuse fully.

Rasmalai is super creamy and yummy, and is a must for a special occasion. If you've ever tried the pre-packed products from the large supermarkets - specifically Royals Rasmalai then I promise you this is as good, if not better. The Rasagulla (paneer balls) are soft and melt in your mouth, the creaminess from the addition of the cream and the condensed milk just adds to the flavour, and the powdered cardamom and chopped nuts just finish of the dish.

Rasmalai is traditionally eaten as a desert on its own, the flavor will want you coming back for more. Rasmalai is a firm family favourite, and is eaten on special occasions such as eid, birthdays, or can be eaten whenever you feel the want or need. this is my quick and easy rasmalai recipe, the ingredients are detailed below for my rasmalai.

Ingredients:

For making Paneer:
5 cups of whole milk (1 cup equals 250ml)
2 tablespoon lemon juice (sieved)

Milk Syrup:
3 cups of whole milk (1 cup equals 250ml)
1 small carton double cream (150ml) optional
1 small tin of condensed milk (397g) optional
1/3 cup of granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon green cardamom powder

Sugar Syrup:
3 and 1/2 cups of boiled water
1/4 teaspoon green cardamom powder

Edible silver leaf & sliced green pistachios for garnishing!
