Another Free-Motion Quilting tutorial to help you quilt your Wildflower 9-Patch! This design features nine, 9″Australian Wildflower blocks with geometric backdrops. Designs include Gum blossom, Waratah, Flannel Flower, Kangaroo Paw, Bottle Brush, Grevillea, Spider Orchid, Sturt’s Desert Pea and our National flower, Wattle.
In my sample I painted the 9″ blocks and added 2″ sashings creating a finished quilt 35″ square. You could enlarge each block and use the designs individually and combine with your favourite pieced blocks.
