United Nations weapons experts on Friday (28/11) began their seventh day of inspections since normal operations resumed, after Iraq warned that the UN Special Commission (UNSCOM) will be barred from presidential sites.
The Iraqi News Agency criticised the inspectors for working on the Muslim Sabbath.
No incidents have been reported since the inspectors return to Iraq, but they have not yet tried to enter presidential sites. Iraq considers the sites "sensitive" to its sovereignty. Iraq said on Wednesday that international experts would be allowed to inspect presidential palaces, but a day later said members of UNSCOM would be excluded.
