Artists, arts educators, curators, arts administrators and creative entrepreneurs share insights gleaned through their practices of organizing within marginalized communities, and bridging into the arts sector. They’ll speak to the value of the arts in building communities based in mutual aid, knowledge sharing, online platforms as spaces for disabled artists, diversifying income, resisting capitalism and credentialism, reclaiming spirituality, and advocacy. Hear how artists must be involved as key designers of the arts sector.

In June 2023, SKETCH hosted Cultivate: The Journey to Building a Thriving Creative Sector, a series of conversations between artists, performers and community leaders exploring critical questions in today’s arts and culture sector.
