In this video I use my new 2020 Model 3 with Autopilot Hardware 3.0 / FSD and compare it with my 2018 Model 3 with Autopilot Hardware 2.5. Both cars attempt to travel in the right hand through lane and both struggle to stay in their lane during this autopilot test. It is clear to me there is no autopilot advantage to having the new 3.0 / FSD CPU. With that being said, one update can take a 3.0 car far ahead of a 2.5 HW vehicle as Tesla Autopilot team builds the software specifically for the new computer.
