For the first video capturing steam traction engines for the 2025 steam rally season you will witness 3 steam traction engines on the road to Camborne on the 25th April 2025. As with every year the rally season for myself kicks off in late April with the annual Camborne Trevithick Day. With that I get the opportunity to follow local steam engines on the road towards Camborne. The unfortunate bleak spring weather created some cold and wet filming conditions, but this did not deter me from getting the camera out.
The steam traction engines in this video are;
Aveling & Porter no. 9128 'Major'
Marshall no. 62121 'The Whale'
Fowler no. 22596 'Evening Star'
