Описание: Heavy downpour and flash floods: On August 19–20, Karachi was hit by extreme monsoon rains—some of the most intense in decades. Rainfall reached up to 163.5 mm near the airport, the highest since 1979, and 178 mm in northeast Karachi—a record high Severe disruptions: The downpour paralyzed the city.
