Each book is supported by a free story read-aloud on our Reclamation Sisters YouTube channel, so you can start each therapy work session with a read-aloud of the story. Each story in our Picturing Recovery series is chosen for its rich connection to the complexities of life, including both struggles and victories.

Sam & Dave Dig a Hole, written by Mac Barnett and illustrated by Jon Klassan, is a story of persistence, perseverance, grit, significance of choices, consequences, perspective, and goal-setting...a story those recovering from addiction will certainly relate to.
