Interview with Dr. Miceal O'Hurley, International Conflict Resolution Expert, about the Palestinian crisis by Egypt's Al Qahera network Al Youm programme (Arabic: القاهرة اليوم, English: Cairo Today). I spoke about the Cease Fire in Palestine, the Palestinian crisis in the world community, the USA continuing to provide weapons to Israel, UN Resolutions 194 and 3236 recognising their right of return to their homeland following the Nakba, UN Resolution 3379 guaranteeing Palestine’s right to international representation, Arab League Resolution 231 and the ethic of responsible statecraft.
Al Qahera is an Egyptian live television talk show broadcast from their studios located in the Media Production City in Sixth of October City, Giza Governorate. Al Qahera Al-Youm is one of the most popular and influential shows in the Middle East with millions of viewers world wide.
The programme is hosted by Gamal Enaiet with Mariam Zaki and others. Al Youm covers all aspects of life in Egypt, from politics to arts, sports, cultural and economic issues and international affairs. It airs on Al Yawm channel which is owned by Mediagates as part of Orbit Communications Company, now known as the OSN.
